About Walter Beasley
Since his debut album in 1987, Walter Beasley's distinctive blend of R&B, soul music, hip-hop and jazz has earned him a strong following. His album “Go with the Flow" was voted Jazz Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards 2003. A Berklee College graduate who went on to teach there, he has toured or recorded with many artists including Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, Dexter Gordon, Bob James, Ronnie Laws, Everett Harp and Norman Brown.
