Lennie Niehaus: Intermediate Jazz Conception For Saxophone
This is the third book in the four-volume series which focuses on the fundamental rhythms, articulations and phrasing commonly used by jazz groups. Rhythmic patterns are established and developed melodically in the exercises. This material is then utilised in the subsequent jazz tunes. Articulation is fully specified. Excellent material for individual students or teachers.
Please note - accompanying CD is for Eb instruments only. If you wish to use the CD together with the printed music, please bear this in mind. The 25 Jazz Tunes feature stereo separation of the instrumentalist and rhythm section for you to either playalong with or replace the melody instrument.
