Jazz Duets for Saxophones is a fantastic opportunity for any combination of Eb and Bb saxophones to learn and perform 8 jazz duets together. Each duet consists of three sections, which help you to break down the difficult phrases, so that by the time you have done the first two sections, you're ready for the actual Performance Duet:

1. Rhythm Challenges - improve your sight-reading by practising the syncopated rhythms that feature in the the Performance Duet
2. Practice Duets - mini duets that are 'snapshots' of the main areas of difficulty in the Performance Duet
3. Performance Duet - the main event. Each of the duets focuses on specific performance points, including basic swing rhythms, long notes, rests and unusual rhythms.

This duet book has both Eb and Bb transpositions written out, making it useable by any combination of Eb and Bb instruments. The duets get progressively more difficult, and you would need to be at a beginner-intermediate level (ie at least 2 years of playing, Grade 5 (UK)) to get the most from the book.
